This is a complete listing of the 184 letters from the personal papers of Gov. Charles Robinson held in the Kansas State Archives at the Kansas Historical Society that were identified as pertaining directly to Robinson's time at Haskell and were used in the development of this website. These letters were photographed by Jancita Warrington and indexed and transcribed by Travis Campbell in 2018. Undated | Gorman | Plans/blueprints have been submitted for approval and will be returned to Robinson. Will write confidential letter about recent transfers and asks Robinson to destroy it after reading. |
Undated | J.P. Gorman (?) | Are boys allowed to take their uniforms home? Stock must be getting low. Predicts 75% of Cheyenne students will not return. |
Undated | This letter is largely illegible, seems to mention a resignation but is unclear whose. | |
Undated | Ben (?) Harrison | Wants to go home, has been here three years. Says he will return after two weeks and is always working hard. |
