I understand from Henry Ward Beecher and Arthur Fields that their time was out Jan. 6 and I send this with Joseph Howell to tell you that I want you to send the boys home at once also tell them to stop at Ponca and draw their money as the pay roll is there and will have to be secured by them. I need the boys how badly and want you to send them at once.
